Ivy and Lola’s was recommended to us by one of our shuttle drivers from our hotel. It’s located in downtown Queenstown and is right on the water. It has a hip and stylish vibe with its funky decor.
Even though it was a cloudy day, we had a great view of The Remarkables mountain range from inside the restaurant.
The chai latte had lots of cinnamon which is just how I like mine. The foam was light and airy.
The pancake stack came topped with a vanilla yogurt and berry compote. It had a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar overtop. Its a delicious way to start your morning.
One of their most popular brunch items is their chicken and waffles. Its the perfect balance of sweet and savoury. The juicy fried chicken pieces are drizzled with maple syrup. The jalapeno chutney was a spicy and addictive condiment. I love greens on anything so I liked the fresh bite it gave the dish.
Ivy and Lola’s is open for all meals of the day. Their location is very central so its a great place to start your day in downtown Queenstown.
