Bin 4 Burger Lounge is a locally owned burger chain in Victoria. They are serving up creative burgers made with locally raised meats (beef & chicken). They have been featured of my fave eating recommendation show, You Gotta Eat Here. They have three locations throughout Victoria (downtown, Saanich & Langford.) This post is about the Saanich location. We stopped by here as we were headed home on the highway to catch the ferry. We made a pit stop for these popular burgers.
You start your meal with complimentary house made potato chips. I liked the simple flavoring of salt & pepper.
Our burger choices from above. We heard great things about their onion rings and wanted to try them. With both our burgers, we got half fries and half rings. I really like that you had the option to do that. Another thing I really like about this place is all the house made dips they offer! I am all about dips with my fries/any other food that can be dipped. My favourites were the roasted jalepeno aioli and the basil aioli. They went great with the fries and rings.
The Heritage burger is their classic option here. Bacon and cheese was added to the burger. The house made burger patty was delicious and not too thick.
I am a huge fan of mushroom burgers so I had to try their take on it. I really liked the addition of arugula to this burger as it gave a great, peppery bite to cut through some of the creamier aspects like the garlic cream and truffle aioli. The mound of mushrooms on the patty was tasty. All the flavours of this burger complimented each other.
I always know that when You Gotta Eat Here has visited a restaurant, it is going to be fantastic. Bin 4 Burger Lounge was no exception. Their contemporary burgers are delicious. I would definitely eat here again on my next Victoria trip.
