I recently checked out Tableau for their happy hour menu. It is served daily from 2:30pm-5:30pm and 9pm-close. They have great drink specials and a select food menu is 50%. This French influenced bistro is located in downtown Vancouver on Melville Street, in the business district.
Cute corners and cute decor here.
Their blonde lager was delicious. High balls were on special for $5 during happy hour. The other drink is a vodka cranberry juice.
We got some of their hand cut fries to start. They came with a garlic aioli so I am always interested in trying different versions of this luxurious sauce. It was tasty and had just the right amount of garlic in it. It was a great dip to go with these crispy fries.
The charcuterie board came with a variety of little things like bread, butter, fruit spread, pickles, spiced nuts, dried fruit, cheese and meat. We opted for 2 cheeses and 1 meat.
We finished off our happy hour with their maple cheesecake. I really enjoyed the brûléed top of the cheesecake. The poached pears and berry compote on the side were nice additions to this dessert.
I had a great time at happy hour here and I will definitely be coming back for lunch or dinner. I hear nothing but good things about this place. I am happy to have finally had a little taste of it.
