Southside Diner

If you are looking for a laid back place to eat when in the Creekside area of Whistler, Southside Diner is the spot. I ate here while staying at Nita Lake Lodge. Its about a 2 minute walk away.

I loved this poster on the wall.

I enjoyed their chai latte. The milk foam was smooth and airy. I am a huge cinnamon fan so I was happy to see lots of it on top.

Or maybe you are in the mood for a more indulgent drink, like a milkshake? This vanilla shake was served straight out of the canister. It was thick and delicious.

The Southside Slam filled me up. I like breakfasts with a little bit of everything so that’s why I ordered this. You have your choice of breakfast protein, potatoes, eggs and 2 pancakes. I got the real maple syrup because it’s the only way to go.

Their bacon cheddar burger is a popular option. The burger comes stacked high with all the fixings. The beef patty is made in house.

As soon as you walk out of the Southside and look to your right, this is the view. Whistler is so beautiful. This is the Creekside Gondola. There is a set of Olympic Rings on this mountain.

We spotted a pair of bald eagles soaring around as soon as we stepped outside from the diner. I managed to snap a picture of one of them.

If you are nursing a hang over or looking for a diner vibe when in Whistler, make sure to check out the Southside Diner in Creekside.
