Paliotti’s is an Italian restaurant with two locations in the Lower Mainland in Abbotsford and Maple Ridge. I had the pleasure of visiting the Maple Ridge location for dinner recently.
Paliotti’s are family owned. The wife works at one location and her husband manages the other, how cute!
We got some Caesars to start our Italian feast. They were well seasoned and spiced.
The complimentary house made focaccia bread was so delicious. Who can resist fresh bread? It had great herb flavour from the rosemary and was well salted as a good focaccia should be.
I love warm dips. The baked seafood neptune appetizer was creamy and loaded with great ingredients like artichokes, cream cheese, shrimp and crab.
My eating partner and I got the pizza and pasta to share. We both love veggie pizza so that was an easy choice. The pizza crust was so addictive and tasted homemade. It had a crispy exterior and fluffy, soft interior. The pasta was the Fettuccine Paliotti. It’s one of their signature dishes with mushrooms, bacon, green onions in your choice of rose or cream sauce. We went with the cream sauce. Don’t forget the fresh pepper on top! This dish was very comforting and tasty.
When its time for dessert, Paliotti’s brings out the above platter to help you decide. The desserts are made by a local Italian bakery in Maple Ridge called Delizie.
We went with the chocolate pecan pie. It was very decadent and delicious. The butter tart type filling in the bottom of the pie was amazing and there was lots of pecans. The was no shortage of chocolate in this pie.
I had a great experience at Paliotti’s. The food was delicious and flavourful. The restaurant was very busy and its clearly a popular choice for the locals. Check them out at either location for their tasty Italian fare.
