Whistler is not a very old town. The Blackcomb mountain portion of Whistler was developed in the early 1980’s. Dusty’s bar in the Creekside area has been around since those times, the 1980’s. It’s a great spot to hang out after being on the mountains. They have been voted numerous times for best après ski in Whistler.
Dusty’s is very large with multiple patios. I can see why it is so popular.
I really enjoy it when an establishment tries to bring the outside in. I liked these sliding garage doors here. I got to enjoy the sunset from where I was seated. This makes it a great place all year round, not just for ski season.
There is lots of entertainment here with darts, a pool table and a place for live music.
We started off with some of their Legendary Caesars. The drinks had the right amount of spice to them and I liked that it came with a bean and celery.
The warrior burger is large and comes with all the fixings. I really liked the fries here. The seasoning on them is addictive and I liked the famous dipping sauce, butt rub mayo.
The pulled pork sandwich was tough to finish. The house made pork shoulder came on a Portuguese bun served along side their potato wedges.
One of the perks of staying at Evolution in Creekside were these discount cards given to us upon checking in. We received 15% off at Dustys and the above participating places.
I really enjoyed wandering over here during our stay in Creekside. It was nice to have someone else make your drinks. Its a great place to unwind and hang out during your Whistler adventures.
