The ice cream craze has hit Vancouver hard in many forms. You can find places that serve your favourite hard and soft ice creams or even get creative with liquid nitrogen frozen. Rooster’s Ice Cream has recently opened on East Broadway in Vancouver.
They are making their own hard ice creams with a focus on local ingredients and seasonal tastes. They also make affogato (espresso + ice cream) and ice cream donuts (splitting a donut in half & stuffing with ice cream).
I got their mango raspberry swirl and triple strawberry. The mango raspberry was so delicious. It was creamy and full of mango flavour. I didn’t have a chance to snap a photo of my friend’s choices of blueberry balsamic espresso swirl and dark coffee toffee. I had some of the blueberry balsamic and it was incredible. It’s colour was very vibrant from all the fresh fruit. Stop by when you are in the area to try their unique flavours.
