Bruce’s Country Market

Bruce’s Country Market is located in scenic Maple Ridge, just off the Fraser River. It has a grocery store, fish market, smoke house, bakery and eatery.

DSCN2794Bruce’s opened in 1948 and is still owned by the original family.

Here is their bakery.

They have an abundance of fresh seafood as well as salmon pinwheels and handmade crab cakes that look fabulous.

They have lots of frozen and canned salmon. You can take home Bruce’s homemade salmon chowder too. It’s so comforting.

Bruce’s has a large selection of smoked salmon and candied salmon. They offer single or double smoked of wild sockeye and chinook. If you catch your own fish, they also provide a service where you they will smoke your catch for you. Call ahead of time to see if they are accepting orders.

I love visiting Bruce’s. Their fish products are so fresh and delectable. I often give their smoked salmon to the fish lovers in my life and they always look forward to enjoying it.
